Small and beautiful is the title of a series of Swiss events in Japan to mark 150 years of friendship and trade between the two small and beautiful nations. Claudia Caviezel's two murals are a single design flipped horizontally and shifted from positive exposure to a red-toned negative exposure. Caviezel merges the flora and fauna of both countries. Groves of bamboo twin with Swiss blossoms, and neon swirls cascade like trails of glow sticks in the night sky while they simultaneously reference expressive Japanese calligraphy.
