The Swiss Federal Design Award jury based their decision to award Claudia Caviezel with a Federal Design Award on her final year project at Lucerne School of Art and Design. Called tape-It, her portfolio was a series of experiments with glued seams and woven adhesive tape as thread replacement with outcome intended for potential application in fashion, fabrics, accessories, and interiors.
