Claudia Caviezel's Naturaleza is a verdant cascade of nature unfurled across a panoramic textile mural. The technicolour jungle-like scene of swimming turtles, lily pads, orchids, birds, butterflies and other flora and fauna against a mountainous backdrop proved to be a major draw for visitors at Shanghai's inaugural West Bund Art & Design Fair. Caviezel painted the dramatic backdrop in a 3D style which created an effect similar to the look of a historic diorama. The scene was scanned and digitally printed to full-scale.
