Claudia Caviezel collaborated with Swiss outdoor clothing manufacturer ROTAUF - a radically sustainable company - to create a range of T-shirts inspired by nature and outdoor sports. The designs look casual and effortless, but several stages of research and experimentation with materials and processes were needed before Caviezel settled on a screen print rubber squeegee to move paint across paper. Her expressive designs were created with just two dynamic strokes. These spontaneous abstract images capture the spirit of Swiss rocks and mountains, forests and trees. The final designs were selected by Caviezel and ROTAUF from hundreds of variants. These designs were made into T-shirts in Switzerland using Swiss organic cotton and printed with environmentally-friendly inks.
