Serendipity is the human equivalent of magic. Claudia Caviezel painted shapes for the design of her Luven bed linen, but her eye was caught by the serendipity of the pattern created by unintentional splashes of paint pigment at the edge of her paper. There it was, the design for Luven. As if by magic the pattern appeared and patiently awaited her to discover it. Caviezel translated Luven into two limited edition upholstery fabrics – one printed and one woven - for her Riom sofa.
