Claudia Caviezel designed a ceramic plate for the benefit of the annual Pink Ribbon breast cancer fundraiser for the Swiss Cancer League. Sponsored by Swiss-based Langenthal Porcelain, each of the four artists for Donate a Plate are given a white circular porcelain plate as their canvas Caviezel's plate is her adaptation of her pigment splash design from her Luven textile collection. The colourful circle splashes on the white plate capture the magical moment when water molecules move into the paint solution and expand the paint cells in a hypnotic, hypotonic process that references biological processes in the human body.
