Fittingly for an artist whose textile-based works drape, clothe, cover, embody, embrace, and reveal, the softcover catalogue for Caviezel's retrospective Claudia Caviezel: Caleidoscope at Museum für Gestaltung is wrapped in one-quarter of the exhibition's official poster. Designed by Giliane Cachin, the colourful continuous sheet cover with folded flaps unfurls into a mini vertical banner. Inside, the catalogue is an overview of work produced in the last twenty years by one of Switzerland's pre-eminent designers whose work has been shown internationally. Mood board-like artist inspiration pages such as “Pink”, “Paint”, “Lemon” and “Drawing” are interspersed with image and text pages that detail specific works.
