The design of Claudia Caviezel's artist bedding for ZigZagZürich (2024) reflects her career-long exploration of handmade ceramics and tiles and their design influence across multiple media for products including printed textiles. Caviezel digitally scanned ceramic tiles and used analogue and digital techniques to translate their tactility and visual beauty into a textile for artist bedding. Made in Italy where weaving is an exacting skill and an art form, the duvet cover and pillows are woven from sustainable Oeko-Tex spun cotton.
