Indigo dyed textile collection

Caviezel’s Aizome collection for Swiss home textiles brand lavie was inspired by the Japanese dining aesthetic moritsuke she experienced during her 2024 Japan residency. Created in collaboration with Watanabe Dye House and Shinto Towels, the kitchen and bath textiles are dip-dyed in fermented indigo (aizome). Aizome is a compound of ai (meaning both indigo and love) and zome (to dye) which together create “dyed with love” - a happy sentiment that resonates with the positivity of the brand’s compound name “la vie”.
